Polycarbonate, referred to as PC plastic raw material (hereinafter referred to as PC). It is a general term for a class of high molecular compounds containing carbonate pure structure in its molecular chain and various materials based on it. According to the different ester groups in the molecular structure, it can be divided into several major types such as aliphatic ring, aromatic fan and aliphatic-styrofoam. And take bisphenol A type polycarbonate as the most important, molecular weight is usually 3-10 ten thousand. In the absence of special clarification, polycarbonate generally refers to bisphenol A polycarbonate and its modified varieties.

As a transparent product among the five major engineering beam materials, PC is an amorphous engineering material with particularly good impact strength, thermal stability, gloss, antibacterial properties, flame retardant properties and anti-pollution properties. The notched impact strength of PC (Notched Izod impact stregth) is very high, and the shrinkage rate is limited to low, generally 0.1~0.2%. PC has good mechanical properties, but poor flow properties, so the injection process of this material is more difficult. When selecting inter-quality PC materials, the final expectation of the product should be used as the benchmark. If the plastic part requires high impact resistance,then use PC material with low flow rate; on the contrary, PC material with high flow rate can be used, which can optimize the injection molding process.
