What are the components of the LED tube housing

The LED tube housing mainly contains the following parts:

Plastic cover: LED tube housings are usually made of polymer materials such as polycarbonate and polyacetal resin, and can be shaped into different shapes and colors as needed. The plastic cover has the advantages of being lightweight, waterproof, and dustproof, and can effectively protect the lamp.

Aluminum profile(aluminum heat sink): In the LED tube, the radiator is usually made of aluminum alloy. The aluminum profile can quickly dissipate heat, accelerate the heat dissipation of the LED tube, and extend the service life of the LED tube.

The LED tube end cap is a sealing component inside the LED tube. It is usually located on the tempered glass at both ends of the tube and has the functions of sealing, waterproofing, and moisture-proofing. The end caps of LED tubes are usually made of silicone or fluororubber materials, which can effectively isolate dust, moisture and water, and prevent water droplets or gases from entering the inside of the LED tube, thereby causing damage to the internal components of the LED tube.

The electrical components inside the LED tube housing, such as LED chips, drivers, etc., are very sensitive. In a closed state, if the interior is affected by moisture, these components may be damaged or short-circuited. The existence of the end caps can prevent this situation from happening and ensure the normal and stable operation of the LED tube.

In addition, LED tube end caps can also prevent dust and bacteria from entering, thereby improving the hygiene level of LED tubes, maintaining good light quality, and extending the service life of LED tubes.

In general, the LED tube housing is mainly composed of a plastic shell, an aluminum profile and two end caps. Each component has different functions and works together to provide protection, cooling, fixation and lighting for the LED tube.
