At present, a large number of aluminum profile shells are still formed by turning, which is due to the difficulty in making cold extrusion dies. It should be noted that the corners and threads of the machined aluminum profile housing must be rounded to avoid sharp edges and burrs. At the same time, the knurling design of the connecting ring of the aluminum profile shell should not use cloth patterns as much as possible. The knurled parts of the electroplated parts processed by the cloth pattern knurling will inevitably corrode in the salt spray test. Relatively speaking, the straight knurled connecting ring is much less corroded in the salt spray test.
The quality of the aluminum profile shell mainly depends on the quality of the aluminum profile. In fact, another important factor is the molding of the aluminum profile shell. The forming of the aluminum profile shell determines the quality of the aluminum profile shell.
1. Surface quality
The aluminum profile shell material is made of high-quality raw materials, with high technical precision, and the surface layer and inner layer feel smooth and even. The surface of the aluminum profile should be clean, free from defects such as cracks, peeling, corrosion and bubbles, and no defects such as corrosion spots, electrical burns, black spots and oxide film peeling.
2. Identification inspection
The text on the surface of the aluminum profile shell is generally printed by imported inkjet printing, the text is clear, and there are general signs such as trademark logo, manufacturer, address, and telephone number. Most of the real characters on the surface of the fake aluminum veneer are printed by ordinary printers, the characters are blurred, and the manufacturers and monitors are average.
3. Oxide film thickness
The high-quality aluminum profile shell can be used to measure the pressure resistance of aluminum veneer materials with a small pressure pump. The internal pressure of real aluminum veneer is relatively high during blasting, and generally can meet or exceed the requirements of relevant national standards for counterfeit products. The oxide film of the aluminum profile is formed during the anodizing process, which has the function of protection and decoration, and can be detected by an eddy current thickness gauge.
4. Sealing quality
After anodizing, there will be many gaps on the surface of the aluminum profile. If it is not sealed or not well sealed, the corrosion resistance of the aluminum profile housing will be reduced. Common methods for sealing quality inspection are acid leaching, admittance method and phosphoric acid butyric acid method. The on-site inspection generally adopts the acid leaching method, that is, the surface of the aluminum profile is scrubbed with acetone to remove oil and dust, and nitric acid with a volume ratio of 50% is dropped on the surface and gently scrubbed. After 1 minute, the nitric acid was washed off with water, then dried, and a drop of medical purple syrup was dripped onto the surface. After 1 minute, wipe off the purple syrup and thoroughly clean the surface. Watch carefully for traces. Poorly sealed aluminum profiles will leave obvious marks. The heavier the trace, the poorer the sealing quality.
