The safety level of LED lamps can be divided into the following categories:
Class 0 luminaires: luminaires without ground wires, luminaires that rely on basic insulation as protection against electric shock, which means that the accessible conductive parts of the luminaire are not connected to the protective conductor in the fixed wiring of the installation, in case the basic insulation fails, it has to rely on environment.
Class I luminaires: luminaires with ground wires. The protection against electric shock of luminaires not only relies on basic insulation, but also includes additional safety measures, that is, connecting easily accessible conductive parts conductive parts are not live in the event of a failure of the basic insulation.
Class II lamps: lamps without ground wires, the protection against electric shock is not only based on basic insulation, but also has additional safety measures, such as double insulation or reinforcement, but there is no protective grounding measure or depends on installation conditions.
Class III lamps: The protection against electric shock depends on the power supply voltage being a safety extra-low voltage (the effective value of the AC voltage is less than 50V), and will not produce lamps with a voltage higher than SELV.
