One of the influences of the extrusion machine on the output of LED aluminum profiles

If the extrusion force of the LED aluminum profile extrusion machine is not strong enough, it is difficult to extrude smoothly or even the plugging phenomenon occurs and the ingot cannot be squeezed, the temperature of the ingot can be increased, but the extrusion speed should be lower to prevent the material from being squeezed. Outlet temperature is too high. Each alloy has its specific optimum extrusion (billet) temperature. Production practice has proved that the billet temperature is best kept at around 430°C (when the extrusion speed is ≥16mm/s). The mold-out temperature of 6063 alloy profile shall not exceed 500°C, the maximum outlet temperature of 6005 alloy is 512°C, and the best temperature of 6061 alloy shall not exceed 525°C. A small change in the mold release temperature will also affect the output and quality of LED aluminum profiles.

The temperature of the extrusion cylinder is also very important. Special attention should be paid to the temperature rise in the preheating stage. Excessive thermal stress between the layers should be avoided. It is best to raise the extrusion cylinder and the bushing to the working temperature at the same time. The preheating temperature rise rate shall not be greater than 38°C/h. The best preheating specification is: increase to 235°C, hold for 8 hours, continue to heat up to 430°C, hold for 4 hours before putting it into work. This will not only ensure uniform internal and external temperature, but also have enough time to eliminate all internal thermal stress. Of course, heating the extrusion cylinder in the furnace is the best way to preheat.
